Creator Guide
What to post, how verification works, and what happens before points become cash.
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Signet is built to make creator campaigns clear before you post. Use this guide together with each campaign's instructions, required story tags, and reward details.
01
Before You Join
- Read the campaign reward, deadline, content type, and instructions.
- Make sure your Instagram handle in Signet matches the account you will use to post.
- Keep your Instagram account public until Signet verifies the Story. Private content may not be detectable.
- Only join campaigns you can complete honestly and on time.
02
Story Requirements
Mention every required account in the Story itself. Hidden mentions, misspellings, and expired Stories may prevent automatic verification.
Your Story should reflect your real experience and should not make claims you cannot support. If a brand gives you specific talking points, you are still responsible for making sure your Story is truthful.
03
Sponsored Disclosure
If you receive points, money, free products, discounts, or any other benefit for sharing, disclose that relationship clearly in the Story. A simple disclosure such as #ad or Sponsored by BrandName should be easy to see and understand.
The FTC's social media influencer guidance says endorsements should make material brand relationships clear. You can read the FTC's current guidance at Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers.
04
Verification
Signet checks public Instagram activity for the required campaign signals. Stories are checked while they are live, but they can be missed if the account is private, the required mention is missing, or the Story expires before it is detected.
If a correct Story is not detected, use the review option on the campaign page and send a screenshot. The Signet team will review it against the campaign requirements.
05
Points and Withdrawals
- 1 point equals $0.10 USD.
- Points appear after Signet verifies the qualifying Story.
- Withdrawals require the minimum point balance shown in your rewards page.
- Stripe handles account onboarding and any bank payout details after transfer.
- Signet sends approved withdrawals to your connected Stripe balance. Redemption requests may be reviewed first if campaign activity needs a closer look.
06
What Can Delay Rewards
- Missing, misspelled, or removed mentions.
- Private Instagram accounts or content that expires before detection.
- Stories made outside the campaign dates.
- Content that does not follow the brand's instructions.
- Fraud, fake engagement, duplicate accounts, or deleted accepted submissions.
